AarkTech Solutions GmbH in Zurich, Switzerland is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead a large-scale cloud migration program. The role focuses on OpenStack-based platform migration, strategic architecture governance, and cross‑team coordination to meet client requirements.

You will work onsite 3–5 days per week with occasional travel, ensuring alignment with Swiss data sovereignty and regulatory standards. English is required, Swiss German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as an Enterprise Architect in large-scale cloud migration projects.
• Strong track record delivering OpenStack-based platforms and migration patterns.
• Knowledge of Swiss data privacy laws (FADP/revDSG) and regulatory governance.
• Willingness to be onsite in Zurich 3–5 days per week with client-driven travel.

Aufgaben

• Define and govern the OpenStack Landing Zone, hub-and-spoke architecture.
• Lead VMware/vSphere/NSX/vSAN migration efforts across environments.
• Ensure compliance with FADP/revDSG and DCoV where applicable.
• Develop reference architectures and apply sizing to workloads.
• Oversee OpenStack networking, security, backup and monitoring.
• Drive architecture governance and stakeholder alignment across teams.

HIRING | ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT –STACK IT CLOUD MIGRATION

We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join a large-scale Cloud Migration Programme in Zurich, Switzerland.

Onsite: 3–5 days per week, based on client requirements

Travel: Occasional travel to Romania/other pods, approximately 1–2 times per quarter

Language: English; Swiss German is a plus

This is a key architecture role supporting the migration of approximately 600 applications and 425 tenants from VMware environments to an OpenStack-based cloud platform. The role will work across platform standards, business/compliance requirements and delivery teams, with a strong focus on Swiss data sovereignty and architectural governance.
