Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a dedicated Aircraft Engine Mechanic to join our team. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft engines and APUs, borescope inspections, disassembly/assembly, and support hot section overhaul as needed to uphold our high standards of reliability.

In this professional role, you will keep accurate maintenance records, ensure compliance with aviation regulations, and apply 5S workplace practices.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus.
• Mechanical apprenticeship completed in machining/automotive/motorbike industry.
• S or B1 maintenance license preferred.
• High quality and safety standards oriented.
• Strong motivation to gain new knowledge and collaborate with others.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Aircraft Engine Mechanic to help ensure our fleet’s engines are maintained to the highest standards. Engine & APU Maintenance

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, including QEC/LRU replacements, borescope inspections, assembly and disassembly of engines, modifications. Hot section inspections/overhaul and troubleshooting on aircraft engines and APUs off and on wing.
• Main Products: Honeywell Engines and APUs, TFE, HTF, CFE engines and GTCP36-100/150, RE220,HGT400, 131-9A/9B series APUs, Pratt and Whitney 300 and 800 series engines, Rolls Royce BR710 and BR725 series engines, CFM56-5B/7B, GE CF6-80, GE90 engines.

Documentation & Compliance

• Keep detailed and accurate records of all maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely and professional manner, ensuring it meets aviation industry requirements.

Workplace Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by applying 5S principles, always ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and used according to company guidelines.

Your Profile

• Mechanical apprenticeship in the machining, automotive or motorbike industry.
• 10+ years’ experience in Engine - MRO industry is an advantage.
• Possession of S or B1 maintenance license preferential.
• High quality and safety standards oriented.
• Strong motivation to gain new knowledge.
• Always happy to support and collaborate with others.
• Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus.
