METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a highly motivated Quantitative Analyst to join the International Energy Trading division in Zug, Switzerland. You will develop, implement, and refine quantitative models for asset valuation, optimization, price forecasting, and risk management to support trading decisions.

You will work closely with traders and other analysts to translate complex requirements into practical solutions, building robust tools for day-to-day portfolio management and optimization.

Formación

• MS/PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or related field.
• Broad knowledge of commodity markets and relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Rust, Python, C#, C++, or VBA; experience in R or MATLAB is a plus.
• Experience with external models and quantitative tools including ETRM, valuation, and optimization platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of financial mathematics, derivatives pricing, and risk analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate quantitative concepts into trading and portfolio decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze hedging strategies and portfolio effects; provide trader recommendations.
