Zusammenfassung

Vans in Stabio, Switzerland is hiring an Associate, Inventory Planner to drive buy forecasts and balance supply with demand. You’ll collaborate across teams to maximize product availability while keeping stock in check.

You will analyze sales history, coordinate global deadlines, and optimize purchases using SAP/MRP/INFOR. Strong English, Excel skills and a numbers-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience with forecasting and planning activities.
• Very good communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; Microsoft Windows environment experience.
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Passion for working with numbers with an analytical mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics or Management.

Aufgaben

• Plan purchases based on forecast, current inventory levels, open POs and production constraints.
• Analyze sales history and build an accurate buy forecast.
• Coordinate deadlines with global supply planning and sourcing offices.
• Partner with sales teams to maximize opportunities.
• Analyze shortage and excess inventory positions to optimize stock.
• Manage system settings (SAP, MRP, INFOR).
• Participate in weekly/monthly calls with Asia sourcing on issues and improvements.
• Manage purchase orders from dummy to regular POs within buy cycle.
• Support inventory ops by monitoring sales orders coverage.
