The preferred locations for this position are Switzerland or Ireland. The EMEA CapEx & Inventory Manager will be part of the Orthopaedics Worldwide Supply Chain Finance Organization. The role will work closely with a cross-platform team to increase clarity and control over key drivers of regional cash flow. The role will report to the Senior Manager supporting WW Inventory and E&O reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to be at the center of our enterprise and directly impact the entire franchise’s success. We need a finance professional to deliver on the next chapter of our strategy to improve gross profit and drive efficiencies in the use of working capital for the company. We are looking for a data-driven, high-energy professional with the ability to dive deep into analysis and insights while influencing decisions and actions. The right candidate will bring an independent perspective, high engagement, a passion for innovative technologies, and a strong execution focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders across commercial and supply chain functions and build action plans to manage CapEx, Inventory, and E&O in line with the DePuy Synthes EMEA business strategy.
• Lead the planning process for CapEx, Inventory, and E&O, collaborating with global, sourcing, regional, and local teams.
• Translate regional inventory/CapEx targets and strategy into executable plans across markets.
• Drive local market accountability and ensure collaboration with the markets to deliver plans and identify and track mitigation actions.
• Lead reviews of results with regional and global partners.
• Analyze, communicate, and review working capital performance with franchise teams and focused markets.
• Contribute to initiatives related to cost and cash flow optimization.
• Enhance existing processes to drive insightful discussions with business leaders and influence decisions.
• Build and maintain an analytical framework to provide return on investment insights on working capital investments.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 8 to 10 years of proven experience in financial business partnering with a focus on value creation, process improvement, and financial decision-making.
• Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and US GAAP financial procedures is required.
• Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities simultaneously, gain alignment, and influence decisions through data analytics.
• Proven track record of collaborating across functional areas to deliver results.
• Demonstrated expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Ability to bring clarity to complex business topics and present results at both operational and executive levels.
• Good understanding of CapEx and Inventory processes and compliance.
• Demonstrated understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and experience generating effective prompts to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.
• Preferred Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
• Other Proficiency in English is required.
• Up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required.

Company Updates

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
