Job summary

Enway in Niederweningen, Switzerland, develops high-tech municipal vehicles and electric drives. We seek an embedded software engineer to develop software for control systems and propulsion, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to implement real-time solutions.

You will work in an agile SCRUM environment, contributing to designs, tests, and system concepts at the software-hardware interface. Proficiency in C/C++, Git, and German/English is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical training in automotive, electrical, or systems engineering with a FH/ETH degree.
• Experience in embedded software development and in measurement and control engineering.
• Proficient in modern C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Git; knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849 / 26262) is a plus.
• Experience with agile methods (SCRUM).
• Good knowledge of German and English.
• Motivation to drive things forward and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Development and testing of embedded software for control systems, including safety-relevant applications.
• Creation of software designs, specifications, and test concepts.
• Contributing to system concepts at the interface of software, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Active participation in agile development processes (SCRUM), including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordination of sub-projects in close alignment with project management.

Requirements
