Belimo is seeking an Embedded Security Verification Engineer to lead security testing for ARM-based firmware. You will drive vulnerability assessments, validate Secure Boot and Secure Update, and build automated validation solutions across embedded systems.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering/computer science field.
• Experience with cybersecurity-focused embedded systems.
• Hands-on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of communication stacks.
• Knowledge of Secure Boot, Secure Update, and secure storage concepts.
• Strong Embedded C++ and Python programming skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan, document, and lead security testing campaigns for embedded products.
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing, threat modeling, and security reviews.
• Validate Secure Boot, Secure Update, Secure Storage, and communication protocols.
• Identify and analyze vulnerabilities in firmware, communication stacks, and embedded systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated security testing and validation frameworks.
• Coordinate external development partners and take ownership of selected deliverables.
• Support firmware releases, maintenance activities, and security compliance requirements.
• Investigate reported security defects and contribute to vulnerability remediation efforts.
