Big Science Sweden is seeking a technician to join CERN's Electronics Service team in Geneva. You will be responsible for the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards, gaining hands-on experience with industrial equipment and quality standards. Applicants should have a maximum of two years of professional experience in a relevant field and must hold a general secondary education diploma. Note that candidates with higher degrees are not eligible for this position.

Overview

Join CERN's Electronics Service (EPR) team within the BE-CEM group, responsible for the layout, industrialisation, and production of electronics modules for CERN's accelerator complex. You will contribute to the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards (PCB), gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art industrial equipment and quality standards.

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electronics Electrical Mechatronics tech (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
• Applicants with a Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or PhD degree are not eligible.
