Job summary

SkyCell is seeking an Electronics Technician/Automation Engineer to join on-site in Basel. You will assemble, wire and commission prototypes, and integrate battery packs, BMS, sensors, and electronics into our smart refrigerated containers.

You will drive electrical development from concept through series production and conduct extensive lab and field tests. You will document results, support firmware/hardware testing with the team, and collaborate with suppliers to qualify new components for

Qualifications

Experience assembling, wiring and commissioning prototypes and test systems.
Experience integrating battery packs and battery management systems into containers.
Ability to plan and conduct laboratory, climatic and field tests.
Ability to document test results and develop technical improvements.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wiring and commissioning prototypes and test systems.
Integrate battery packs, BMS, sensors and electronics into refrigerated containers.
Develop electrical systems from concept to series production.
Plan and conduct laboratory, climatic and field tests.
Perform functional, charge, discharge and safety tests on battery systems.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and CAN interfaces.
Support firmware and hardware testing with electronics and software teams.
Document test results and create electrical documentation and wiring diagrams.
Assist industrialisation and supplier collaboration for new components.
Support production and service teams with electrical issues.
