Zusammenfassung

Auterion AG in Zurich, Switzerland seeks an Electronics Engineer to join the interdisciplinary hardware team. You will design avionics PCBs, sensors, and electronic modules for next-generation drone platforms, supporting from concept through production.

You’ll work with flight controllers, sensors, and vision systems, coordinating with hardware and software engineers to meet EMI/EMC, thermal, and mechanical requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2+ years of PCB design and electronic product development, including prototyping, layout, and testing.
• Good understanding of mixed-signal PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity principles.
• Hands-on PCB testing and troubleshooting, including basic EMC considerations.
• Experience with Altium Designer is highly desirable.
• Experience with high-power applications, ESCs, and lithium batteries is an advantage.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional hardware/software team.
• CH/EU citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Design, prototype, and validate avionics PCBs, sensors, and electronic modules for drone platforms from concepts to manufacturing.
• Support PCB and product verification, including test planning, execution, and documentation; contribute to EMI/EMC, thermal cycling, and mechanical shock tests.
• Create and maintain technical documentation: schematics, BOMs, assembly instructions, repair docs.
• Collaborate with test, manufacturing, and production teams to transition designs to production.
• Define electronics requirements, system interfaces, and design solutions with hardware/software teams.
• Support troubleshooting and design improvements based on test results and field feedback.
• Contribute to development and improvement of hardware team processes and best practices.
