CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Beams Department to join the BE-EA-EC cabling team. You will work on projects for the LHC and CERN's experiments, aiming to optimise and maintain the infrastructure and provide strong support to physicists.

You will support the study, execution and coordination of complex technical cabling projects, including assembly, installation, testing, procurement assistance, and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Support the gathering of user requirements and provide technical assistance.
• Contribute to technical studies, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Assist with the procurement of materials and services.
• Participate in the assembly, installation, and testing of cabling and electrical equipment.
• Support workshop and on-site activities related to experiment infrastructure.
• Assist with prototype development, commissioning, and reception tests.
• Contribute to project coordination activities and technical meetings.
• Support the preparation and review of technical reports, specifications, and change requests.
• Apply and promote quality assurance procedures and documentation standards.
