Job summary

Lonza AG is seeking an EHS Senior Specialist to implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety standards across the platforms. This site-based role focuses on safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead EHS guidance, risk assessments and incident investigations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive safety improvements and CAPA tracking across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires EHS expertise and regulatory understanding.
• Must hold EKAS or ASGS certification.
• Fluent in English and German, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for EHS topics and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Supports EHS risk assessments and change requests.
• Performs EHS assessments and approves technical changes.
• Participates in safety walks, audits and walkthroughs.
• Leads EHS incident investigations and documentation.
• Defines and tracks EHS CAPA and KPIs.
• Collaborates with Safety Coaches on EHS initiatives.
• Delivers EHS training when required.
