Position Summary
For our Education Department, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Education Coordinator/ Specialist (100%) to lead the planning, delivery, and continuous development of EAACI's educational portfolio and specialty initiatives.
The Education Coordinator/ Specialist (will be responsible for implementing a diverse range of educational programs, projects and events supporting EAACI's educational governance structures, driving innovation in learning formats, and ensuring excellence in educational delivery across both live and digital platforms.
The role works closely with the Vice President Education, Education Committee, EAACI Board of Officers, scientific experts, external partners, and the EAACI Headquarters team.
Key Responsibilities
Education & Program Delivery
- Coordinate EAACI's educational portfolio, including schools, courses, webinars, workshops, examinations, fellowships, and online learning programs.
- Support the implementation of EAACI's educational strategy and annual operational plan.
- Drive the development of innovative educational formats and digital learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the expansion and continuous improvement of EAACI Nexus and other online educational platforms.
- Ensure educational programs align with EAACI's mission, strategic priorities, and quality standards.
Educational Events & Learning Activities
- Coordinate the operational delivery of educational events, both in-person and virtual.
- Coordinate faculty, speakers, scientific program, scientific committees, and external stakeholders.
- Manage timelines, budgets, contracts, logistics, and reporting for educational events and programs.
- Support educational content development, evaluation, and impact measurement.
- Oversee participant engagement and learning outcomes.
Specialty Development
- Support EAACI's specialty promotion initiatives and projects.
- Coordinate the EAACI/UEMS Knowledge Exam and related activities.
- Support specialty recognition, workforce development, and professional advancement initiatives.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with UEMS and other professional bodies.
- Coordinate application, evaluation, selection, and reporting processes.
- Support career development initiatives for Junior Members and Early Career Professionals.
Accreditation & Compliance
- Manage CME/CPD accreditation processes across EAACI educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and educational governance requirements.
- Maintain educational records, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
Committee & Stakeholder Support
- Provide operational support to the Education Committee and relevant Task Forces and Working Groups.
- Prepare meeting materials, reports, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications and engagement activities.
- Monitor educational KPIs, participation metrics, and learner feedback.
- Develop reports and recommendations for leadership and committees.
- Identify opportunities to improve educational effectiveness, reach, and impact.
- Support educational market analysis and benchmarking activities.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in education program management, continuing medical education (CME), scientific societies, healthcare, or related sectors.
- Experience working with international committees, faculty, and stakeholders.
- Experience managing educational events and digital learning programs.
- Knowledge of CME/CPD accreditation processes is highly desirable.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), webinar platforms, and educational technologies is an advantage.
