Job summary

OnTarget Communications in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Avionics B2 Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of complex aircraft systems. This fully onsite role demands strong maintenance and certification capabilities.

You will serve as certifying staff, oversee maintenance tasks, diagnose faults, and coordinate with engineering and airworthiness teams. English fluency and a valid EASA Part-66 B2 license are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft.
• Holder of EASA Part-66 Cat. B2.
• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years experience as Certifying Staff on type aircraft - Advantage
• Working knowledge of 145 MRO and PO part 21 - Advantage
• Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates with an EASA License will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities within the client’s organization
• Oversee the completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including the review and execution of related operational work orders
• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions to resolve aircraft issues
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal component repair, engineering, and airworthiness departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance matters
• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist customers during AOG events when required
