Senior E-Learning Developer

Candidate Requirements

• Canada based and fully remote.
• Team works EST hours.
• Start with part time hours ramping up to full time (37.5 hours per week) after first month.
• Provide own laptop and Articulate 360 license.

Project

Collaborate with the instructional design team to develop e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline on a global project with 20 languages. Follow naming conventions and folder structures, meet deadlines, and maintain quality and detail.

In This Role

Design, develop, and maintain SCORM/xAPI compliant e-learning courses. Work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the instructional design team to develop e-learning courses using Articulate 360.
• Create engaging and interactive course content that is SCORM/xAPI compliant and compatible with multiple learning management systems.
• Apply graphic design skills and follow brand guidelines.
• Set up courseware with meaningful reporting for multiple LMS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during course development or delivery.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure courses function properly and meet client expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and techniques.
• Assist with project planning and timelines to meet deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address concerns or issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing e-learning courses using Articulate 360.
• Strong understanding of SCORM/xAPI and other e-learning standards.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• It would be highly beneficial for candidates to have a link to an eLearning portfolio and provide course samples of their best work.
