Make an Impact We are seeking a talented and driven E-Commerce Manager – EMEA to join our Commercial EMEA team in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing Fossil Group’s Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) E-Commerce business across EMEA, driving revenue, conversion, and profitability. You will execute global brand strategy while localizing assortment, pricing, content, and on-site experience to maximize market performance—putting the customer at the center of every decision.

This is a hybrid position based in our Basel office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Head of Digital Sales EMEA.

What You Will Do In This Role

Commercial Growth & Trading

  • Manage and grow the D2C E-Commerce business across EMEA, driving revenue, conversion, and profitability.
  • Own day-to-day trading performance, including seasonal launches, drops, promotions, markdowns, and on-site content and merchandising.
  • Execute global brand strategy while localizing assortment, pricing, content, and user experience to maximize market performance.

Customer Journey & Experience Optimization

  • Optimize the end-to-end customer journey across PLP, PDP, checkout, and post-purchase to improve conversion and AOV.
  • Define and prioritize website and platform enhancements, supporting implementation with global and regional stakeholders.

Analytics, Insights & Forecasting

  • Analyze commercial KPIs alongside product, consumer, and competitor insights to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with merchandising, planning, and supply chain teams to optimize forecasts, inventory availability, sell-through, and product lifecycle management.

Cross-Functional Activation

  • Partner with CRM and performance marketing teams to drive acquisition, retention, loyalty, and personalization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to launch campaigns, seasonal events, and product releases across EMEA.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop the D2C E-Commerce team, fostering a high-performance, engaged, and collaborative environment.
Who You Are
  • 5–8 years of experience in E-Commerce management, including 3+ years mentoring or managing teams, agencies, or key partners in online retail.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical expertise to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused omnichannel leader with a deep understanding of the consumer journey and a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership with strong negotiation skills, ownership, and a proactive, persuasive, and resilient approach in a fast-moving retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and CRM, with a clear view of how both drive commercial results.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Algolia, GA4, Contentsquare, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Business-level English required; additional languages are a plus.
