CDDS sucht eine erfahrene Drone Pilot & Operations Engineer, die Flugbetrieb, Feldtests und die Integrationsprozesse rund um Drohnensysteme verantwortet. Sie arbeiten an hochperformanten, autonomen Systemen und unterstützen Kunden-Demonstrationen weltweit.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören das Steuern von Interceptor-Drohnen, das Organisieren von Feldtests sowie Montage, Kalibrierung und Wartung der Drohnensysteme. Reisebereitschaft und praktische Problemlösungskompetenz sind gefragt.

Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung im Flugbetrieb von UAVs und sensorgestützten Systemen.
• Praktische Montage, Integration, Kalibrierung und Wartung von UAV-Systemen.
• Ausgeprägte Troubleshooting-Fähigkeiten unter Feldbedingungen.

Aufgaben

• Piloten von Interceptor-Drohnen und Unterstützung der Flugbetriebsabläufe.
• Organisation und Durchführung von Feldtests.
• Montage, Integration, Kalibrierung und Wartung von Drohnensystemen.
• Fehlerbehebung vor Ort im Feld und in der Werkstatt.

Aufgaben

Your Mission

Join us at CDDS to bring next-generation control, guidance, and state-estimation algorithms into high-speed kinetic interceptor drones.

We are looking for an experienced Drone pilot & operations Engineer to:

• take ownership of flight operations and field tests
• support the integration and production of drone platforms
• help improve production and test workflows

We move at a high pace and priorities shift quickly. You should be comfortable building in an environment where the problem and responsibilities can change underneath you.

What You Will Be Working On

• Pilot interceptor drones and support flight operations
• Organize and conduct field tests
• Assemble, integrate, calibrate, and maintain drone systems
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the field and workshop

Qualifikation

We are looking for people who thrive in a fast paced start-up, on rapid prototyping, and hands-on flight testing. Implementing quick fixes and tests under pressure. Additionally, you are ready to travel to test locations abroad and be part of customer demonstrations all over the world.

Required

• Flight Experience with UAVs
• Experience assembling, integrating, calibrating, and maintaining UAV systems
• Strong practical and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and conducting field tests
• Open to travel often

Nice to have

• Background in production, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly
• EASA drone certifications (A1/A3, A2, STS, or equivalent)
• Competitive robotics or UAV competition experience
• Driver's license
