Job summary

TEXAID in Bern, Switzerland is seeking a Driver CAT. B for 100% employment in Bern-Bümpliz. You will load and unload clothing collection containers, drive to destination points, and ensure vehicle maintenance while representing TEXAID on the road.

Required are strong physical fitness, a reliable driving record, and fluent German; flexibility and independence are essential. Residence near Bern is preferred. We offer attractive terms and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of manual tasks and long periods of standing
• Clean driving record with valid Cat. B license
• Fluency in German required for communication with contacts

Responsibilities

• Properly empty clothing collection containers
• Unload collected items onto trucks or roll containers
• Maintain the vehicle and manage loading containers
• Represent TEXAID on the road and in contact with our contacts
• Work start and end at the car park in Bern, Bümpliz

Your tasks:

• Proper emptying of clothing collection containers
• Unloading the collected goods onto the truck or into roll-off containers
• Management of the loading containers
• Representation of TEXAID on the road and in contact with our contacts
• Maintenance of the vehicle
