The Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich seeks a full-time tutti double bass player. The start date is flexible and will be agreed upon with the selected candidate. Applicants must be able to perform in orchestral tuning. The application period is open until November 1, 2026, with auditions scheduled for January 28 and 29, 2027.

Candidates are required to prepare specific pieces for the audition, including Dittersdorf's Concerto No. 2 in D major and one of the selected concertos by G. Bottesini or S.

Competenze

• Must have proven orchestral experience and be able to perform tutti bass parts.
• Proficiency in sight-reading and tuning procedures for orchestral performance.
• Completion of a relevant music degree or diploma is expected.
