Job summary

ITech Consult AG is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer for its Azure Basis team in Zurich. The role focuses on expanding the Microsoft Azure platform, optimizing Entra ID, and automating related processes.

You will implement automation with Terraform, configure App Registrations and Conditional Access, and work on OAuth 2.0/SAML/OpenID Connect based SSO flows across Azure and Microsoft 365. Hybrid work within Switzerland is offered.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and in-depth knowledge of Azure basic services.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, especially Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Application Proxy.
• Solid practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation, as well as tools and programming languages such as GitLab, Go, Python or Bash.
• A good understanding of network security, IAM standards and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Experience in the application of cloud security technologies.
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Completed computer science education at the university/university level or equivalent qualification.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as a structured and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID and related services using Terraform and APIs with Go.

• Developing conceptual specifications for OAuth 2.0 and SAML flows and their implementation in the various applications.
• Creating and continuously optimizing authentication and authorization rules, including automated testing and monitoring.
• Managing and optimizing Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the area of identity management and security.
• Incorporating current developments in hardening Entra ID and further developing the framework for configuration monitoring.

For our client in the banking sector, we are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to further develop and expand the Microsoft Azure platform within the Azure Basis team. The focus will be on optimizing Microsoft Entra ID and its associated automation. You will also support the integration of new Azure Basis services.

Tasks:

• Developing and implementing automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID and related services using Terraform and APIs with Go.
