Job summary

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is seeking a Greenkeeper professional to support deputy management of the Greenkeeping department across two courses. You will coordinate a small team, plan daily operations, and mentor staff under the Head Greenkeeper.

The role requires German and English language skills, IT literacy, and willingness to work weekends, with a focus on outdoor work and safety compliance within Swiss regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified Greenkeeper or Head Greenkeeper.
• German language skills are essential; English is advantageous.
• Willingness to obtain PPP certificate.
• Chainsaw certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions is required.

Responsibilities

• Deputy management of the Greenkeeping department, including team coordination and operational leadership in the absence of the Head Greenkeeper
• Planning, coordinating, and carrying out daily operational tasks in close collaboration with the Head Greenkeeper and the team
• Supervising, mentoring, and training team members in coordination with the Head Greenkeeper
• Recording, maintaining, and updating resource data in IT systems (Punctus, approval workflows, Excel workbooks, time management systems)
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and standards
• Participation in winter on-call duty services

Your Profile

• Certified Greenkeeper or Head Greenkeeper
• Completed apprenticeship as a gardener or landscape gardener is an advantage
• A technical or trade-related vocational background is an advantage
• Certificate for the professional use of plant protection products (PPP) or willingness to obtain one
• Chainsaw certification or willingness to obtain one
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
• Good IT skills
• Team-oriented, resilient, reliable, and responsible personality
• Assertive with strong conflict-resolution skills
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work weekends
