Job summary
Join JTI as an Operations Electrician in Dagmersellen to perform professional electrical maintenance on cigarette production lines and independently carry out maintenance and repairs as needed. You will troubleshoot equipment, plan installations, and contribute to projects while ensuring safety and compliance with NIV13 requirements.
The role requires an apprenticeship as an electrician, NIV13 eligibility, and strong German language skills. Swiss or EU recognition by ESTI is preferred.
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship as an electrician / automation technician (EFZ) or comparable training.
- NIV13 permit or prerequisites to obtain it.
- Knowledge in PLC control (S7, Beckhoff).
- Very good German skills (English/Italian advantageous).
- Professional experience in Switzerland or in an EU country recognised by ESTI.
Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance of cigarette production lines.
- Troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Plan and execute electrical installations including schematics and documentation and participate in optimisation projects.
- Train and support operators on equipment.
