Zusammenfassung

RUAG in Zürich is seeking a Data Scientist for Sensors to advance modelling, analysis software, and radar data processing. You will analyze real-world measurements, derive metrics, and report findings to internal and customer teams.

The role requires strong Python, ML, and numerical modeling skills, plus Linux experience and knowledge of C/C++ or Rust. German and English at C1 are expected; French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Computational Science, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong expertise in Python for scientific computing with NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib.
• Expert in mathematical and numerical modeling of complex, dynamic systems, including handling noisy and high-dimensional data.
• Practical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Good familiarity with Linux and exposure to compiled languages (C, C++, Rust).
