Harvey Nash in Zurich is seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist with strong data testing and automation experience to join a major enterprise data environment in Zurich.

You will design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks for data platforms, pipelines and CI/CD integration, working closely with Data Engineers and QA teams.

This is a 12-month contract in Zurich with 3-4 days onsite per week, starting ASAP, at CHF 550 per day.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in test automation, ideally within data-centric environments.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets.
• Programming/scripting experience in Python, Java or similar.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and data integrity.

Aufgaben

• Design, build and maintain test automation frameworks for data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop automated tests covering data ingestion, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Build and execute automated regression test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify gaps in existing test coverage and develop automated solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot test failures.
• Distinguish between application/data defects and test or environment issues.
• Document automation frameworks, test cases and results.
• Continuously improve test coverage, execution speed and framework reliability.
