Zusammenfassung

Swiss Himmel is seeking an experienced Test Lead/Engineer based in Zürich to own QA for a data platform spanning onPrem and cloud, with hands-on automation within a CI/CD pipeline.

You will define test strategies, design data quality tests, implement automation frameworks, and ensure tests gate deployments across environments.

Collaboration with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders is essential, and you may mentor junior testers as part of agile teams.

Qualifikationen

Proven experience creating test strategy for data platforms, onPrem and cloud.
Hands-on experience automating test cases and building test automation frameworks.
Strong CI/CD experience — mandatory.
Solid SQL skills and data validation of large datasets.
Based in Zürich, Switzerland – no remote from abroad.

Aufgaben

Define and own the overall test strategy for data platform components.
Design tests for data quality, reconciliation, schema validation and transformation logic.
Build, maintain, and extend test automation frameworks and automate functional and data-layer tests.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test gates run with deployments.
Mentor junior test engineers and coordinate test planning across sprints/releases.
