SII Switzerland is seeking a BI/Data Engineering professional in Lausanne to design and deploy data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and build high-quality data models in Power BI.

You will collect, transform, and govern data, create semantic models, and develop interactive dashboards. Strong coaching and communication skills are essential to empower analysts and ensure data-driven decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric for BI solutions.
• Strong data modeling and DAX skills for complex analytics.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into dashboards.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric from SQL and external sources.
• Collect, prepare, clean, and transform data to ensure usability and quality.
• Ensure data governance through quality controls, business rules, and data dictionaries.
• Design and maintain high-performance data models using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Develop semantic models (Star Schema, Snowflake, Power BI Datamarts) for business needs.
• Create and optimize complex DAX measures for performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Optimize dataset and report performance via modeling best practices and monitoring.
• Support business teams and Data Analysts in using BI solutions.
• Train and coach Data Analysts to empower dashboard creation.
