Kanadevia Inova AG is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and analytics tools within an agile Data Products Team. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure to transform data into actionable business insights and ensure governance, quality, and security across data assets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders, delivering reliable data solutions and maintaining robust documentation for scalability and cost efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 2–5 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong programming in SQL and Python; write efficient, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure cloud platforms; knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and governance for data quality and security.
• Fluent English communication skills; German is advantageous.

Job Description

Join our Data Products Team to build scalable data solutions that drive business insights. You will work collaboratively within an agile environment to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Azure. • Design, develop, and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake and its technology stack, enabling reliable ingestion, transformation, storage, and seamless access to data while ensuring high performance, data quality, and operational reliability
• Contribute to building intuitive Streamlit applications that transform data into valuable business solutions and insights
• Collaborate with data architects, product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Monitor and implement data quality measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies and security standards
• Continuously optimise data processes to improve performance, reduce costs, and maintain comprehensive documentation of pipelines and data models

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 2–5 years of proven experience in data engineering roles (ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and pipeline development)
• Strong programming proficiency in SQL and Python, with demonstrated ability to write efficient, maintainable code
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure cloud platforms, including knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to implementing data quality measures and governance standards
• Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively in international team environments; German language skills are advantageous.
