Zusammenfassung

LIOM Health AG, a Swiss health-tech pioneer, seeks a data analysis scientist to perform state-of-the-art analysis on experimental data for biomarker detection in in-vitro and in-vivo samples.

You will process and evaluate data to ensure quality, assess performance metrics and noise characteristics, and interpret insights against literature and LIOM libraries, with internal documentation and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to digest scientific literature across disciplines.

• 3+ years of experience writing Python.

Your mission

This job opportunity aims at performing state-of-the art analysis of various experimental data (e.g. optical spectroscopy) for detecting different biomarkers in in-vitro samples and in-vivo skin measurements. You will be involved in processing and evaluating experimental data to ensure data quality and perform an assessment of the performance metrics and noise characteristics. In addition, insights from the analysis must be interpreted based on literature and LIOM's libraries as well as properly documented and reported internally with other departments.

Your profile

• Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, Biomedical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent algorithm development experience.
• Demonstrable capacity to digest scientific literature effectively, including cross-disciplinary domains.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, being comfortable in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• 3+ years of experience in writing with Python
• The following qualifications are a plus:
  • Experience in signal processing, optics, photonics, machine learning, or wearable sensors
  • Experience in analyzing -omics data
