As the Head of Corporate IT Controlling, you lead the financial backbone of our global IT organization. You bring strategic insight, challenge assumptions, and enable confident decision‑making at the highest level. Leading a team of 3–4 IT controllers, you shape financial governance, strengthen risk management, and ensure that resources are allocated where they create the greatest value—driving performance, innovation, and long‑term growth across the company.

How you create impact

• Lead business reviews, monitor performance, and drive actions that enhance profitability, productivity, and risk mitigation.
• Assess financial viability across locations and implement efficiency, standardization, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Coordinate forecasting, target‑setting, and financial planning while providing strong analytical support.
• Partner with Technology Leadership, CIO, and IT teams to ensure transparent and effective IT financial management.
• Manage IT budgets (headcount, vendors, licensing, cloud, hardware) and oversee allocation models.
• Standardize project portfolio management and oversee business cases, investment applications, and project controlling.
• Support governance processes, due diligence, acquisitions, and IT contract coordination with procurement and legal.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, guidelines, and ICT standards.
• Communicate financial frameworks effectively while coaching and developing finance teams globally.

What we would like you to bring

• 7+ years of experience in Finance with strong expertise in Controlling and Accounting, ideally in an IT‑driven environment.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise IT systems and a solid understanding of IT processes, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Proven strength in financial and strategic planning, analysis, project management, and target setting.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, global organizations and manage cross‑functional stakeholders effectively.
• Strong understanding of the logistics industry and its operational/financial drivers is a significant plus.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with resilience, strategic agility, accountability, and strong self‑organization.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage.
