We are looking for someone who can operate confidently and independently reviewing terms, managing documentation, facilitate issuing purchase orders, master agreements and subcontracts but who is also coachable and ready to evolve as Agile scales.

This role can be onsite or remote, and we are currently accepting candidates residing in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Washington, Utah, and Oklahoma. You MUST live and work from one of these states to work remotely for Agile Space Industries.

Responsibilities
Contracts, Subcontracts, and Consultants
  • Review, negotiate, and manage prime contracts and modifications.
  • Issue, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, consulting agreements and facilitate purchase orders, ensuring proper flow‑down of required terms.
  • Issue, negotiate, and manage the NDAs and teaming agreements.
  • Interpret FAR/DFARS clauses and ensure compliance with applicable terms and internal policies as well as flow downs.
  • Coordinate closely with technical, legal, and finance teammates to ensure contractual alignment throughout project lifecycle.
  • Support Program Managers with submitting compliant deliverables accurately and on time.
Proposals, Purchasing, and More
  • Support the Proposal Manager by reviewing, providing guidance, strategy, and risk management in responding to RFPs/RFIs for government and commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and program management to understand procurement needs and priorities.
  • Conduct price analysis, vendor evaluation, and assist in source selection processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain audit‑ready procurement documentation.
Process and Compliance
  • Serve as the company’s liaison with the customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect Agile.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and organized contract and procurement files.
  • Support internal reviews, government audits, and CPSR readiness efforts.
  • Assist with developing and improving contract templates, sourcing processes, and internal workflows for process improvement and to scale with company growth.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and federal acquisition regulations.
  • Support internal reviews, audits, and government reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5–10 years previously as a Contract Manager with experience department and team management.
  • 5-10 years relevant contracts experience, with exposure to both government (FAR/DFARS) and commercial contracting environments as the Prime and Subcontractor.
  • Knowledgeable with a good understanding on all contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, OTA).
  • Strong organizational, communication skills and attention to detail, with an ability to juggle details across multiple programs.
  • Self‑starter mindset, organized, with a willingness to dive into the day‑to‑day and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working in a lean and evolving environment—where your work will have a direct impact.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with small business procurement practices.
  • Knowledge with compliance requirements related to DCAA/DCMA audits, or contractor purchasing systems.
  • NCMA Certification (CPCM or CFCM)
  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, or high‑tech manufacturing sector.
