Job summary

KPMG in Switzerland seeks a Deal Advisory professional to collaborate with colleagues and deliver critical insights for strategic investment decisions. The role involves supporting due diligence projects for international and Swiss clients and analyzing target company data to assess key deal metrics.

You will present quantitative analyses and qualitative commentary in polished client reports, interacting with internal and external stakeholders and taking on responsibility in a challenging

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with Finance and Accounting specialization.
• Initial experience in financial accounting, M&A, audit, controlling or related fields.
• Strong accounting knowledge with an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• Proactive, responsible and collaborative with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Deal Advisory and other teams to deliver insights for investment/divestment decisions.
• Support sell-side and buy-side due diligence and vendor assistance for international and Swiss clients.
• Compile and analyze target company data to assess EBITDA, working capital and cash flows.
• Present quantitative analysis with qualitative commentary in client reports.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, such as lawyers and investment banks.

• Collaborate with your Deal Advisory colleagues and other teams to deliver critical insights for strategic investment/divestment decisions to our clients
• Support on executing sell-side and buy-side due diligence and vendor assistance projects for international and Swiss clients
• Compile and analyze target company data to assess key deal metrics such as sustainable EBITDA, net working capital and future cash flows, identify key value drivers, and leverage the data analytics tools of our Deal Tech team
• Present quantitative analysis in a concise manner, accompanied by qualitative commentary in a polished client report
• Take on responsibility in a challenging environment and interact with different internal and external stakeholders, such as external lawyers and representatives of investment banks

This is what makes you successful

• Successfully completed a Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a specialization in Finance and Accounting
• Initial experience in financial accounting, M&A, audit, controlling, or a related field is an advantage
• Strong accounting knowledge combined with an analytical and solution-oriented approach
• Proactive and eager to take on responsibility, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
