Zusammenfassung

Progressive in Visp, Switzerland is seeking a dedicated site manager to lead construction and installation phases, coordinating EHS activities and ensuring Lonza standards on site. You will review SiMoKo statements with the EHS specialist and support procurement to integrate safety into scope of work.

As CSA SME for smaller projects, you will guide tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor selection, while driving continuous CSA documentation improvements.

Qualifikationen

• German: C1 level mandatory.
• English: B1 level or higher preferred.
• Experience working within matrix-based, cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in standard software applications, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

• Coordinate all Environment, Health & Safety activities on site.
• Review contractor work method statements (SiMoKo's) with the EHS specialist.
• Ensure Lonza EHS Management System is implemented and verified via site inspections.
• Support procurement to ensure safety requirements are included in scope of work.
• Organize final inspections and coordinate defect resolution after project completion.
• Act as CSA SME for smaller projects from design through execution.
• Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluation and contractor selection.

• Manage the construction site and hold overall operational responsibility throughout the construction and installation phases.
• Coordinate all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities on site.
• Obtain all required work method statements (SiMoKo's) from contractors and review them together with the EHS specialist.
• Ensure the implementation of the Lonza EHS Management System on construction sites and verify its effectiveness through regular site inspections.
• Support the procurement process and ensure that all construction safety requirements are incorporated into the scope of work.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and monitor project costs, schedule, and quality.
• Organize final building inspections upon project completion and coordinate the resolution of identified defects.
• Act as the CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) Subject Matter Expert for smaller investment and maintenance projects, from design through execution.
• Prepare tender documentation and support the bid evaluation, contractor selection, and award process in collaboration with Procurement.
• Contribute hands-on to the creation, development, and continuous improvement of CSA standards and documentation.
• Ensure that Lonza standards, specifications, and project requirements are properly integrated and adhered to throughout project execution.
