Job summary

Techfirm Engineering is seeking a Construction Area Coordinator (m/f/d) for a major pharmaceutical project in Switzerland, starting November 2026. You will supervise decommissioning and construction activities, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, and support installation, commissioning, and handover of new equipment.

Ideal candidates bring GMP experience, ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, and fluent English and German.

Qualifications

• Experience as construction manager or project coordinator in pharma/Life Sciences.
• Experience with brownfield projects, decommissioning, installation or commissioning.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English and German.

Techfirm Engineering is looking for a Construction Area Coordinator (m/f/d) to join a major pharmaceutical project in Switzerland, starting in November 2026.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate and supervise decommissioning and construction activities.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders within your assigned area.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Area Owner, Construction Supervisor, Construction Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or similar.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with brownfield projects, decommissioning, installation, and/or commissioning.
• Strong experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in a GMP environment is a strong plus.
• Hands-on, proactive, and well-organized approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and German is required.
