Job summary

CV Consulting in Renens is seeking a Junior Accountant 100% to join our accounting team. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with closings, and support budgeting while coordinating with colleagues in Lebanon.

We look for a numbers-oriented, precise professional with a commercial apprenticeship and accounting courses toward the federal diploma, fluent French and good English. Join a human environment with varied assignments and opportunities to develop and pursue further

Qualifications

• You like numbers and are motivated by precise work.
• Training: commercial apprenticeship with professional maturity, business diploma or commercial apprenticeship supplemented by accounting courses preparing for the federal diploma.
• Experience: ideally an apprenticeship completed in an accounting firm or accounting department.
• Languages: native French speaker, good knowledge of English both spoken and written.
• Desire to progress: federal diploma is a plus; we will discuss it together.

Responsibilities

• Accounting: accounts payable and receivable, participation in closings, reporting and budgeting
• Direct taxation: preparation of tax returns for individuals and corporations
• Indirect taxation: VAT returns, dividend announcements and requests for withholding tax refunds
• Administration: mail management, drafting letters and emails, filing and scanning, telephone reception
• Coordination with colleagues based in Lebanon
