Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company seeks a seasoned Coldstore Operational Manager to oversee and optimize its cold storage operations in Geneva. The role focuses on efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will plan daily activities, define KPIs, and lead teams while ensuring cost control, data-driven decision making, and strong customer service across sites and agencies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the cold storage industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and excellent English proficiency.
• Experience in P&L management and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily activities to ensure seamless and effective operations.
• Define key operational KPIs and objectives, monitoring progress to meet budget targets.
• Provide ongoing support for projects and day-to-day operations.
• Conduct research on costs and pricing and perform service price profitability and sensitivity analysis.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and industrial refrigeration standards.
• Manage inventory, cost control and planning.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and temperature tracking technologies.
• Lead and manage teams and drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

The Coldstore Operational Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency and productivity:

• Planning and coordinating daily activities to ensure seamless and effective operations.
• Defining key operational KPIs and objectives, monitoring progress to meet budget targets.
• Providing ongoing support for projects and day-to-day operations.

YOUR BACKGROUND
