Job summary

Aviation JobSearch Europa is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Polymechanic for a Swiss aircraft manufacturing project. The role is onsite in Switzerland, supporting precise aluminium component production and maintenance for a temporary project.

The ideal candidate brings technical training or equivalent CNC experience, strong mechanical skills, and a focus on quality. German language skills are strongly preferred for documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical training or relevant experience in production mechanics or CNC mechanics.
• Ability to work accurately and independently with quality focus.
• German language skills preferred for technical docs and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate Portatec BZ 37-12 CNC machining centres.
• Operate Chiron MPS-08 profile machining equipment.
• Manufacture small batches of aluminium aircraft components.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine or equipment issues.
• Ensure manufactured parts meet quality standards.
• Carry out machine cleaning and weekly maintenance.
• Support sheet-metal storage area including stock movements.
