Job-Room in Biel/Bienne seeks a senior Cloud Networking Engineer to design, deploy and orchestrate Akamai and Azure networking for robust performance and security. You will implement edge caching, bot management, and ensure governance through Landing Zones and secure hybrid connectivity.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud networking or security, strong Azure expertise, and hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible, plus Python/PowerShell/Bash scripting.

Your tasks:

• Design, deploy and optimise Akamai solutions (Ion, Image Manager, Kona Site Defender, EdgeWorkers) for performance, availability and security
• Implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, acceleration techniques and bot management to improve web performance and security
• Design and maintain Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, Hub & Spoke architectures, Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway and Load Balancers
• Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance, security and connectivity standards
• Design and maintain Azure routing, network segmentation and hybrid connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments
• Manage security controls across Akamai and Azure including WAF, DDoS protection, firewall policies and private connectivity
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure and security teams to integrate CDN, cloud and network services
• Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise CDN, cloud and network services and contribute to technical standards and best practices

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science and at least 5 years of professional experience in cloud networking, network security, CDN or infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking services and cloud connectivity architectures
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, VPN technologies, DNS, load balancing and network segmentation
• Experience with Azure Landing Zone design and implementation
• Good knowledge of network security technologies including firewalls, VPN, WAF and DDoS protection
• Experience with CDN technologies (Akamai or equivalent) and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitLab CI
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; certifications such as AZ-700, AZ-500, AZ-305, PCNSE or Akamai Certified Professional are a plus
• Fluent in English and French, German is an asset
