Zusammenfassung

Switzerland Global Enterprise in Zurich is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team, focusing on Microsoft cloud, infrastructure and modern workplace technologies. The position is 80–100% and can start immediately or at a mutually agreed date.

You will design, operate and continuously improve cloud services, manage Azure, Entra ID, AD, networks and security, and drive automation with PowerShell. Fluent German and English are required, as are strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education or further training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem with a focus on cloud, server administration, infrastructure, and platform development.
• Solid knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, storage, backup, virtualization, and modern infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Very strong expertise in IAM, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and security-related topics within the Microsoft environment.
• Experience in designing, optimizing, and evaluating IT architectures and solutions, taking security and compliance requirements into account.
• Proficient in PowerShell, with a strong interest in automation and standardization.
• Professional experience as a System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or IT Architect.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style, combined with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Microsoft certifications and experience with methodological frameworks in the Microsoft ecosystem are considered an advantage

Aufgaben

• Design, operation, continuous improvement, and lifecycle management of our cloud-based IT infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Development, expansion, and operational management of the Microsoft cloud environment, with a focus on Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Operation and further development of central infrastructure and platform services, particularly Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, GPO, and server and domain services.
• Implementation, maintenance, and optimization of network and security components such as firewalls, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, VLAN, and SD-WAN.
• Responsibility for Identity & Access Management (IAM) topics, including Conditional Access, Enterprise Applications, App Registrations, and identity, mail, and AD security.
• Contribution to technical security and ensuring compliance with standards, architectural principles, and security and compliance requirements.
• Engineering of future-oriented solutions and automation of both existing and new infrastructures.
• Digitization and standardization of processes, including the use of PowerShell.
• Monitoring and supervision of infrastructure and services using PRTG.
• Support and active participation in projects, change requests, requirements engineering, and the further development of IT architectures.
• Responsibility for Microsoft licensing management, particularly within Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) models.
• Advisory and coaching support for internal stakeholders, ensuring knowledge transfer regarding methods, processes, and technologies.
• Collaboration in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support, as well as technical coordination with application owners and external partners.

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled individual to join us at our Zurich location, either immediately or at a date to be agreed upon, as a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Cloud, infrastructure, and modern workplace technology.
