Job summary

Avaloq is seeking a Cloud Architect to shape the future of its cloud-native banking platform. You will design and implement cloud-native architectures on OCI, supporting automation and delivering scalable solutions for clients.

Enhance collaboration with cloud engineers and developers, drive best practices in DevOps, and ensure reliability and performance through proactive incident analysis and optimization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies and Git-based project workflows.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and abstractions skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a bonus; other cloud providers are advantageous.
• OCI Certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native architecture for Avaloq SaaS on OCI.
• Support Cloud Engineers and Developers to build solid automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver tailored cloud solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Provide expert-level support and guidance on cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.
