Job summary

Milestone One AG is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative in Zug, Switzerland to identify and onboard Medical Institutions into our network, promoting capabilities to sponsors and CROs.

You will drive new trial opportunities aligned with site capabilities and foster strategic relationships to expand Milestone One’s presence in clinical research.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience within the clinical research industry.
• At least 2 years of experience working with key stakeholders in the clinical research industry (Sponsor, BioPharma, and CRO).
• Previous experience in business development, site relationship management, or stakeholder engagement within the clinical research industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, site operations, and sponsor/CRO collaboration models.
• Experience developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with industry stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and support partnership development.
• Experience working with site networks or site-enabled research models is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential Medical Institutions that meet Milestone One's collaboration criteria.
• Initiate outreach to Medical Institutions to explore collaboration interests and qualify engagement.
• Conduct introductory meetings to assess research capabilities, infrastructure, and areas of interest.
• Coordinate documentation to evaluate Medical Institutions for collaboration.
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, CROs, biopharma partners, and Medical Institutions.
• Facilitate site identification, development, and placement of clinical trials in the network.
• Assist in developing and maintaining site profiles for efficient trial matching.
• Promote Milestone One network capabilities to sponsors and CROs.
• Communicate benefits of partnering with Milestone One, including operational support and site readiness.
• Identify investigators interested in participating in clinical research and support engagement within the network.
• Identify new trial opportunities aligned with capabilities of collaborating Medical Institutions.
• Support the implementation of new clinical trials in collaboration with internal teams and Medical Institutions.
• Provide additional business development support to facilitate successful collaborations.

As aBusiness Development Representative, you will play akeybyidentifyingand onboarding potential Medical Institutions into the Milestone One network, while actively promoting their capabilities and engaged investigators to sponsors and CROs.

The primary responsibility of this role is to drivenew trial opportunities that align with site capabilities,facilitatingthe implementation of clinical trials at network institutions, and building strong, strategic relationships with sponsors to expand Milestone One’s presence in the clinical research landscape.

In this role, you will:

Identifypotential Medical Institutions that meet Milestone One's collaboration criteria.

Initiates outreach to Medical Institutions to explore their interest in collaborating with Milestone One,aiming to build early engagement and qualify interest effectively.

Conduct introductory meetings with prospective Medical Institutions to assess their research capabilities, infrastructure, and areas of interest.

Coordinate documentation and informationrequiredto evaluate Medical Institutions for potential collaboration.

Build andmaintainrelationships with sponsors, CROs, biopharma partners, and Medical Institutions to support business development activities.

Works closely with the Site Relationship Associates tofacilitatesite identification,developmentand thensuccessful placement of clinical trials.

Assistin developing andmaintainingsite profiles to enable efficient trial matching.

Promote the capabilities of Medical Institutions within the Milestone One network to sponsors and CROs.

Communicatethe benefits of partnering with Milestone One, including operational support and site readiness.

Identifyinvestigators interested inparticipatingin clinical research and support their engagement within the network.

Identifynew clinical trial opportunities aligned with the capabilities ofcollaboratingMedical Institutions.

Support the implementation of new clinical trials in collaboration with internal teams and Medical Institutions.

Provideadditionalbusiness development support asrequiredtofacilitatesuccessful collaborations.

Education:College or university degree ina lifescience or other medical-related field.

Certifications:ICH GCP training

What You Need:

3 years of experience within the clinical research industry.
