Hamilton Medical AG is seeking a Medical Research Engineer to join the Clinical Research and Innovation team. You will develop and maintain data management tools, analyze clinical study data, and collaborate with medical experts to generate research insights and publications.

The role involves data transfer, storage, anonymization, and quality validation across devices and signals. You will coordinate with investigators, sites, CROs, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, biomedical, statistics, data science, or related field.
• Strong programming in MATLAB; experience with C++, C#, or similar is a plus.
• Experience working with medical device data, physiological signals, or time-series data in clinical or research settings.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in clinical studies, clinical data management, or clinical database development (eCRF design/testing).
• Knowledge of clinical trial regulations (ISO 14155, GCP, MDR, FDA) and data protection (GDPR/HIPAA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in international teams.

Aufgaben

• Implement data management tools and automated workflow for clinical and device data (transfer, storage, anonymization, cleaning).
• Process and analyze medical device data and time-series data to create analysis-ready datasets.
• Conduct exploratory data analyses and software-based analyses to support study reports, regulatory submissions, and publications.
• Develop and validate electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and clinical databases with edit checks and data review tools.
• Coordinate and support clinical studies across lifecycle: feasibility, start-up, site initiation, conduct, close-out, and database lock.
• Support project planning to manage timelines, budgets, quality objectives, and risks.
