Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a classroom teacher
• 5 years experience in the principalship or district leadership roles preferred
• Lead the development and delivery of curriculum and instruction to support student achievement
• Experience evaluating instructional programs using data and student outcomes

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and delivery of curriculum and instructional programs that incorporate district goals and support student achievement.
• Oversee the development of innovative career and technology instructional programs and ensure curricular documents, instructional materials, and assessment instruments are in place.
• Lead district-level decision-making to establish goals and major classroom programs with collaborative processes.
• Provide campuses with career exploration and testing resources.
• Evaluate program effectiveness based on data and adjust as needed.
• Monitor and reevaluate instructional programs using input from teachers and principals and student data.
• Ensure necessary time, resources, materials, and technology are available to support goals.
• Collaborate with directors, principals, teachers, and staff to revise curriculum documents.
• Engage staff in evaluating and selecting instructional tools and materials.
• Support district goals and campus performance objectives.
• Oversee staff development programs aligned with the district's mission.
• Participate in implementing teacher appraisal systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies and law, and file required reports
