We are seeking an experienced Chemist to support the commissioning and validation activities of a new large-scale manufacturing facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a GMP-regulated chemical production environment, contributing to technical batch execution, process validation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical batches and validation campaigns for a new large-scale production facility.
• Assist in the validation of equipment cleaning procedures and processes.
• Contribute to the development and review of manufacturing recipes, operating procedures, and risk assessments.
• Investigate, document, and resolve quality events in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to support production activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards and internal quality procedures throughout all activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong expertise in PCS 7 process control systems and recipe development using SIMATIC Batch.
• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and electronic batch record documentation.
• Proven ability to work independently with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Peptide Chemistry.
• Prior involvement in facility start-up, commissioning, qualification, or validation projects.
