Jobup in Affoltern am Albis is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead the local workshop (80-100%). You will coordinate with the operations manager, guide the eight mechanics and a technician, and supervise workshop processes.

We value hands-on experience in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics and control systems, plus early leadership. You’ll navigate customer contacts, maintenance and repairs of work platforms and vehicles, and use IT daily to manage workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Basic mechanical training; ideally with diagnostician training.
• Knowledge in control, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.
• First leadership experience in a similar role.
• Good IT user skills; keyboard over screwdriver.
• Valid driving licence category B (Cat. B).

Aufgaben

• You will lead and coordinate the Affoltern workshop together with the operations manager.
• You support the 8 mechanics and the technical all-rounder with demanding assignments.
• You organise, plan and supervise the workshop processes.
• You are a competent contact person for our external and internal customers.
• You support maintenance and repairs of various work platforms and vehicles.

What you bring (besides motivation and humour)

• Basic mechanical training, ideally with additional training as a diagnostician
• Good knowledge in the fields of control, electronics, hydraulics and mechanics
• First leadership experience in a similar role
• Good IT user skills, as you will often use the keyboard more than the screwdriver
• A valid driving licence category B (Cat. C? Jackpot!)
