Zusammenfassung

The Cantonal Administration of Graubünden seeks a Career, Study and Vocational Counsellor (70–80%) in Chur to start 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. You will advise youth and adults on career choices and collaborate with teachers and schools to support planning and information events.

Applicants should hold a federally recognised qualification in career counselling or be willing to complete the training, with strong advisory, communication and organisational skills, and good German

Qualifikationen

• A federally recognised qualification as a Career, Study and Vocational Counsellor or willingness to complete the training.
• Advisory and information skills as well as expertise in psychology, career choice, study choice and career theories.
• Confident and effective manner with young people and adults, parents and teachers.
• Preferably knowledge of regional economic structures and the labour market.
• An engaged, solution-oriented and resilient personality with very good communication skills.
• Good oral and written expression in the German language;
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
• Flexibility and good organisational skills, as well as a high degree of personal responsibility

Aufgaben

• Advising and informing young people and adults on career, school and study choice as well as on shaping their professional career
• Supporting clients in using their own resources, acting responsibly and making independent decisions
• Maintaining cooperation with teachers of lower and upper secondary levels as well as vocational schools for career preparation and career planning
• Conducting information events for parents and classes
• Regular contact maintenance with schools, educational institutions, specialist offices and the economy
• Participation in projects and internal working groups
