A leading investment firm is seeking a Business Development Manager in Basel to secure new deals with property owners hosting telecom infrastructure. This role emphasizes building relationships and providing credible guidance on lease agreements. Candidates should have experience in client-facing roles, fluent Swiss German, and a results-driven mindset. The company offers a competitive compensation package, hybrid working, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP) is a global investment firm helping property owners unlock long-term value from their telecom lease, with less hassle and more peace of mind. We work with landowners, businesses, and institutions that host mobile infrastructure like masts and rooftop antennas. We offer them an upfront lease premium and long-term professional management. It’s about reducing risk, unlocking value, and giving our clients clarity and control over their assets.
We don’t build networks; we help people make the most of them. Through smart, transparent lease investments and practical advisory support, we turn complex telecom agreements into stable, strategic opportunities.
TIP operates in 14 countries and is backed by leading institutional investors, DigitalBridge and Swiss Life Asset Managers, with over $1.5 billion committed to infrastructure. Our work sits at the intersection of finance, telecom, and real estate, and at the heart of it all is our commitment to long‑term partnerships built on trust, transparency, and value.
We are growing our Swiss team and recruiting 2 additional Business Development Managers (IDMs) across the country, with roles available in Bern and Basel. This is an exciting opportunity to join TIP at a time of expansion and play a key role in building our presence in these regions.
We’re a company in motion. Like many growing businesses, things move fast and not everything is fully refined. We're building our processes, shaping systems, improving how we work, and learning as we go. It’s not always perfect, but that’s where the opportunity lies: in making a meaningful impact, taking ownership, and helping shape what TIP becomes next.
We’re focused on building a culture that supports both pace and progress. That means putting strong foundations in place, being clear on our values, and creating an environment where people can do their best work with trust, autonomy, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
Working at TIP means more than just a job. It’s a chance to be part of something evolving, with room to grow, support to succeed, and the opportunity to make a lasting contribution.
As a Business Development Manager at TIP, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and closing new investment deals with property owners who host telecom infrastructure. That means identifying potential clients, reaching out, building trust, and helping them assess the benefits of selling their lease income in exchange for an upfront capital payment.
This is a commercially focused, advisory role where your success depends on your ability to build relationships, offer credible guidance, and manage deals from first contact through to close.
As part of our growing team in Switzerland, you’ll play a key role in expanding our presence and building strong local partnerships based on cultural, linguistic, and regulatory understanding.
In this role, you will:
At TIP, success isn’t about your background. It’s about how you think, work, and deliver results. You’ll need to be confident starting conversations, proactive in building relationships, and comfortable navigating complex decisions. We’ll teach you the specifics of our industry. You’ll bring the drive, curiosity, and results‑driven mindset to make it count.
This role would suit someone who:
We’re a global company with deep local roots, so fluent spoken Swiss German is essential for this role. Written High German is expected for reports and documentation. English skills are also a plus, as it’s the language we use to connect across our international teams.
