Zusammenfassung

The City of Bülach is seeking a hybrid Business Analyst to drive digitalisation projects and manage selected applications. You will collect and structure requirements, translate needs for ICT and external partners, and support the full project lifecycle from concept to rollout.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in business analysis of digitalisation or application projects.
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with ability to mediate between business and technology.
• Team-oriented mindset with high quality awareness and strong coordination and communication skills.
• Very good oral and written expression in German.

Aufgaben

• Analyse and further develop our business processes and identify optimisation and digitalisation potentials.
• Gather requirements from specialist departments, structure and document them, and develop suitable solution approaches.
• Translate business needs into understandable and actionable requirements for ICT and our external partners.
• Accompany projects from the initial idea through implementation to introduction.
• Support evaluations, tests, acceptances, rollouts and training.
• Take responsibility for selected specialist applications throughout their lifecycle and coordinate updates, releases, interfaces and changes.
• Analyse causes of disruptions and coordinate remediation with internal or external parties as needed.
• Act as the contact person for specialist departments and software partners and coordinate collaboration between parties.
• Ensure that applications and related processes are documented comprehensively.
• Monitor maintenance contracts, licences and external services.

The IT team of the City of Bülach is the central ICT contact point for over 800 employees. Together we actively shape business processes, support the specialist departments in their daily work, and drive the digitalisation of the city forward. Currently, the area of responsibility includes around 1,500 notebooks, two data centres, a versatile application landscape, and the associated network infrastructure. Your Profile

• completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• at least 3 years of practical experience in business analysis of digitalisation or application projects, especially in gathering, structuring, and coordinating business requirements with various stakeholders
• an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style and enjoyment in mediating between business and technology
• team-oriented working style, high quality awareness, as well as good coordination and communication skills
• very good oral and written expression in German
