Zusammenfassung

Lonza in Visp, Switzerland is recruiting a Bioprocess Engineer, Cleaning Expert 80%-100% for a site-based role. You will lead GMP investigations related to cleaning, manage deviations end-to-end, and collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, MSAT, and other teams to drive CAPAs and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes process robustness, regulatory readiness, and active involvement in audits, with coaching for manufacturing personnel on GMP documentation and quality culture.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of equipment cleaning, cleaning validation, contamination control.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation practices.
• Familiarity with USP/DSP equipment and process equipment design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions.
• Solution-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus.

Aufgaben

• Lead GMP investigations related to cleaning.
• Own end-to-end cleaning deviation management, from investigation to closure, driving CAPAs.
• Review manufacturing data, batch records, and logs to support investigations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, MSAT, Engineering, Validation, and QC to resolve GMP issues.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits by presenting outcomes and CAPA strategies.
• Provide coaching on deviation reporting, GMP documentation, and quality culture.
• Contribute to risk management, process monitoring and operational excellence projects.
