Novartis in Basel invites applications for a Biomedical Research Postdoctoral Fellowship focused on AI/ML in chemical synthesis and reactivity prediction. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop predictive models using large reaction datasets, advancing drug discovery and the Design–Make–Test–Analyze cycle.

The program offers collaboration with data science, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and synthesis technology experts, with a three-year, full-time commitment

Qualifikationen

• PhD completed prior to fellowship start date in a quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated record of scientific achievement (publications, presentations, patents).
• Experience applying deep learning to scientific or chemical datasets.
• Strong programming in Python with ML frameworks and architectures.
