Zusammenfassung

PROSTAFF is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support and develop Azure cloud platforms, including a Swiss Sovereign Cloud environment. The role focuses on delivering production-ready Infrastructure as Code using Bicep from day one.

You will design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure, automate using PowerShell, Python and Ansible, and collaborate with engineering teams to onboard business applications. Strong hands-on Bicep and Azure DevOps experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of substantial hands-on Azure Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep; 4+ years preferred.
• Active involvement in Azure infrastructure engineering, with regular practical use of Bicep.
• Ability to independently write, understand, modify and troubleshoot Bicep code for production environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Azure subscriptions and the resources deployed within them, including resource configuration, dependencies and integration.
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or Azure Infrastructure Engineer.

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with strong, current hands-on expertise in Bicep to support and further develop Azure cloud platforms, including a Swiss Sovereign Cloud environment and regional Azure workloads.

This role requires someone who is actively working with Azure and can independently deliver production-ready Infrastructure as Code from the start.

• Ensure the stability, security and reliable operation of Azure cloud platforms.
• Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Independently develop, maintain and troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
• Build and enhance cloud automation using PowerShell, Python and Ansible.
• Support monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams to onboard business applications into Azure.
• Take ownership of technical workstreams and deliver solutions independently.
• Promote cloud engineering best practices, automation and operational excellence.
• At least 3 years of substantial hands-on Azure Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep; 4+ years preferred.
• Current, active involvement in Azure infrastructure engineering, with regular practical use of Bicep.
• Ability to independently write, understand, modify and troubleshoot Bicep code for production environments.

• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or Azure Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux environments.
• Good knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and operational support skills.
• Ability to contribute productively from the beginning with minimal technical onboarding.

--> Please note: General Azure experience or expertise in other IaC tools, such as Terraform or ARM templates, does not replace the required hands-on Bicep experience. This assignment requires established Bicep proficiency.
